bicol day 4

woke up early with still no idea how to get to misibis. basta we went to sto domingo first and from there we will be picked up by jinky's cousin and go the port where a barge will take us to misibis bay.

but sorry, no go! misibis has been blocked for VIPs that day.


oh well.

after driving back, we just went to newest attraction in legazpi, lingnon hill. sightseeing galore and may zip line din. but none of us went for that. we were too disappointed. hahahaha.

in the afternoon we were again CHANCE passengers. the next day we were in manila na. this has got to be the most nakakapagod vacation i had. i need another vacation! hehehe!

bicol day 2

we met jinky and hubby by the city hall at around 6 i think (and had to withdraw some cash to no avail) coz we are headed for caramoan TODAY. yey.

we rode a trike to the bus stop and when we got there we chose to ride a van instead to camarines proper and from there we rode another van going to sabang. we arrived at sabang around 1030. that was like half the trip back home!

super dami ng tao sa port. ang gulo i swear. at one point nakasakay na si wheng sa bangka and naiwan kami, she had to be hauled back to the shore. akala ko talaga hindi na kami makakasakay. the last bangka kasi leaves at 1130.


buti na lang may matititigan! hahahaha!






finally nakasakay din! it felt like human trafficking ha. pero the scenery was quite nice kaya ok lang.

it was getting cloudy but it didn't rain thank heavens!!!! and it was really a very very long trip. i think it was more thank 2 hours.


when we arrived at the island,it was low tide so the bangka can't go near the port. we had to ride a smaller bangka just to step foot on dry land.

by that time we had to look for a place pero wala na talaga. we had to take a trike across the island just to get to the other end! grabe! imagine trike lang yun and super bilis at kung anu anung terrain ang dinaanan namen. pikit mata lang ako the whole time. hay.

i think we were at caramoan proper na by 230. by then we had a problem: the island hopping bangkas are operational only during daylight (obviously) so we have to be finished by around 530. ngek di ba. eh maga-alas tres na. that's like P1600 for two hours of going around 3 islands. eh buti sana kung yan lang ang island. anlalayo pa nila ha. eh ang plano namen uwian. so if we get the tour na we can go home after. NOT!!!! wala na palang byahe ang mga bangkang pa-sabang ng hapon. as i said till 11 lang sila, so wala nang way. we had to get a hotel na, and get the tour tomorrow morning till hapon, but no, wala na ngang bangka pa-sabang ng hapon so that would mean 2 nights kami sa caramoan!!!! cannot be!!!!! naloloka na kami talaga what to do what to do!!!! buti na lang nagkaron ng room sa nearby hostel (cheap, but the catch was communal comfort rooms! ACK!!!!!) and ready na ang bangka namen. we just had to grab a quick bite. so ayun. with all our bags in tow we hopped into our bangka at 330 for a 2-hour 3-island hopping tour.

nakakaloka!!!! ang lakas ng alon at umuulan pa!!!! akala ko katapusan na namen. napakanta na lang ako ng this is the moment. shet.



when we got to the first island, SUPER DAMING TAO!!!!! very far from what grace showed me from their pics there. mejo disappointing, and half of the small island was off limits pa coz may shooting ata or something. sad talaga. so wala nang change outfit ito coz bukod sa walang space, nakakadisappoint pa nga, my mindset was i really won't have fun na talaga.

but it was a different thing when we got to the second island! nawala na rin ang ulan and the sun was showing na rin sa wakas.

ang cool coz both sides of the island was a beach, pero un lang sha, it was a short stretch lang. i kinda missed bohol tuloy with its very long stretch of white sand beach.


but still it was very beautiful in caramoan!!!!!

we had to leave din kagad to see the 3rd island and we're losing light na rin kasi. the third island was even smaller but greener. we didn't go down the bangka na lang and headed back na to shore. went straight to the hotel and freshened up. then had dinner dun sa carinderia where we had merienda. IN FAIRNESS!!!! ang fresh fresh ng pagkain dun ha. ang sarap ng pusit, fresh catch!!!!! ang galing din ng pagkakaluto, asian fusion ito! hahahaha.

after eating, went straight back to hotel-hotelan at BROWNOUT. lord. ang hirap matulog. i dunno how i survived pero had to leave din around 6am para makabalik din kagad.


wala pang araw eto na naman kami!!!!!

on the bangka going to sabang. finally we didn't have to be carried by big burly men on their shoulders.

got back to daraga lunchtime. just slept the whole afternoon and went to meet jinky again in the evening kasi dun na kami tulog at maaga pa kami for our trip to misibis!!

good friday ceremony

bicol day 1

holy week vacation turned out really really eventful. we started with being CHANCE PASSENGERS at the cubao bus terminal but we were lucky enough to still get seats at executive bus lines (they are super bagal though, sobrang daming stops, and the driver seems to know everyone he passes by esp nung nasa bicol na kami. he just had to stop to say hi to this and give some money to that. we ended up having a 13-hour trip. UGH.).

anyway, here we are on the bus....


haggardness! tagal namen sa terminal, and the seats we got weren't that comfy. oh well. chance passengers eh.

we got lost a little when we were in daraga na, coz the last time i was in my hometown was high school pa yata. before we got home, we ate muna sa mcdo. the first thing that greeted me was this:

when we got home we just refreshed and rested a little. then gogogo drive drive drive na to cagsawa ruins.

time to go.... before we left i saw someone i knew (and would've been very helpful to get to misibis bay) but dyahe got the best of me. sayang.

we then went back to daraga to eat, may bigg's diner na pala sa daraga. why should i be surprised eh may jollibee at mcdo na nga.

we were waiting for jinky coz she's still at work. I LOVE JINKY! she's really really helpful and generous! love her! kahit ngayon ngayon lang and minsan lang kami nagkakasama she's always been nice.

we agreed that we will just go to caramoan next morning but then i needed to see a beach so off we drove to sto. domingo where the beaches are and where the bitches will be in a few minutes.

at first i really liked the enchong one when it was a billboard on edsa. but then seeing the jake one on fix, especially that inset with him with glasses, love it! jake is just so hot right now. i discovered recently he has some serious acting chops on tayong dalawa. as in MAJOR, SERIOUS.

Earth Hour and Joan's Bday

Last Saturday we were supposed to be somewhere far but traffic really was hell that night so we ended up looking for a spa but all of them were also fully booked so ate wheng just had a haircut and we ate in the TOSH nearby.

it was earth hour that night, i think TOSH is the only resto participating, thus the candlelight....




the next day was the big day. but expect joan to sabotage her own bday! hehehehe

with a very successful tour and a big one mounted at the big dome, i can only ask when's the repeat! i loved every minute of it. yun nga lang no tv coverage. still a good thing though, nakapagwala ako ng todo kasi no risk of tv exposure! yey!
